Projecta Flicks The Switch On Its Switched On Tech Talk Forum

The internet is a wonderful source of information. For 4x4, camping, auto electrical, and caravanning enthusiasts, it’s also a particularly helpful means of finding the answer to your power-related issues.
But sometimes there’s simply too much information to decipher. Projecta Technical Support Officer Ben Blood serves on as many as 40 different online technical forums and says sorting the good information from the bad is something of a minefield.
“Currently I chime in on 30-40 different forums, Facebook groups, and websites sharing what I know about power solutions and setups, Projecta or otherwise, and I’ve got to say, there’s a lot of information out there,” explained Ben.
“Unfortunately, it isn’t always accurate, which got us to thinking, ‘wouldn’t it be great if there was a centralised place where everyone could access our qualified knowledge?’.”
From this simple idea, Ben and the team set about creating the Projecta Switched On Tech Talk group on Facebook. #BennyFromProjecta, as he’s widely known, brings his expert knowledge to the group several times each week.
Along with a community of experts, the Facebook group is a place to ask and share technical advice, share your Projecta set-up, or sit back and gain inspiration for your next build.
Joining Benny is a team of qualified support technicians who ensure the information provided is accurate. There’s a section that provides answers to the most commonly asked 4x4, camping, auto electrical, and caravanning electrical questions, too.
“We wanted the information to be easy to find, easy to watch, and easy to understand,” added Ben.
“As well as demonstrating how Projecta and other setups work, we’re also going to put some of our products through the wringer. We want to show you how tough, well designed, and truly reliable this gear really is.
“We also wanted to make this fun. Our passion for 4x4, camping, auto electrical, and caravanning is at the heart of what we do. We love this stuff as much as you do. So the next time you’ve got a question, sing out, because I’m sure we’ve got the answer,” he concluded.
The Projecta Switched On Tech Talk group is available on Facebook 24/7. The Projecta Technical Support Team is available Monday - Friday, between 8.30 AM - 4:00 PM and will do their best to answer your questions as soon as they can.
There’s also the Projecta YouTube channel, which offers information, tutorials, and advice. As well as features and how-to’s, the channel links to several enthusiast groups who help share their knowledge on everything related to Projecta products.
