How the Intelli-IQ System works

The Intelli-IQ IoT system uses automotive-grade communication for seamless integration between devices. Wiring is simple—just connect single 2.5mm wires via a junction box and run one wire back to the Smart Display. Each display can control up to 15 devices with a single Bluetooth® connection, reducing complexity and connection issues. The system is scalable, growing with your setup, and allows for centralised control of all connected devices.

Key Components of the Intelli-IQ System

2” Smart Display (IQD2)

The brain of the Intelli-IQ system is the sophisticated Projecta 2” Smart Display. Measuring only 53x56mm it is compact, yet powerful and can be mounted anywhere. It gives you an at-a-glance view of your system’s health.

You can monitor voltages, battery levels, and connected accessories with real-time feedback. The display is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, giving users even more control via their dash. With the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration you eliminate the need for bulky aftermarket switches and can manage your 12V system directly from your infotainment screen.

DC-DC Chargers with MPPT Solar

Choose between 25AMP or 50AMP DC-DC charging, both with built-in MPPT solar regulation. Both DC-DC chargers offer maximum ingress protection with IP68 and IP69K while also being engineered to meet heavy vehicle vibration standard.

These units automatically prioritize solar input while ensuring reliable charging from your vehicle’s alternator. The heat is efficiently dissipated away from the electronics, allowing for optimal operation. Additionally, the IDC25X model continues 25A charging even in temperatures up to 75°C making it ideal for installation under your bonnet.

Smart Relays for complete Accessory Control

The newest addition to the Projecta Smart Power Management system is the Smart Relays.

Control your 12V accessories with ease using Projecta’s Smart Relays. The fully sealed (IP68 & IP69K) single-channel relay (IQR040) is perfect for under bonnet installation and turns any device in your DC system into a smart device.

The multi-channel relay (IQMR4) is your go-to for scaling your DC system to your needs and can control up to four low-current devices. These relays connect directly into your Intelli-IQ system and are configurable via the Projecta 2" Smart Display.
