Projecta Challenger Class: Bridging Gaps and Powering Dreams
— October 30, 2023 | 2 min read
What a week it has been! The only thing we can do is take our hats off to Innoptus Solar Team from Belgium and congratulate them on their victory in the Projecta Challenger Class!
Under the Australian sun, solar-powered vehicles drove across the country with one task at hand: reaching Adelaide in a car that solely runs on the silent power of nature. It was close towards the end, but team Innoptus successfully travelled 3,000 kilometres from Darwin to Adelaide and crossed the finish line first with their vehicle named Infinite.
As a proud naming and technology sponsor of the Challenger Class and the event, Projecta could not be more impressed with the dedication and performance of all the teams.
In addition, Projecta also had a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication throughout the event through powering the Starlink satellite internet system, bridging the communication gap in the remote areas of their challenging route.
With cutting-edge products, including the 12V Portable Power-Hubs, Monocrystalline 12V 120W Soft Folding Solar Panel Kits, 12V 1100W Pro Wave Inverters, Rapid Charge Power Banks, and 12V 100AH Lithium Batteries, we powered the support vehicles even after the sun dipped below the horizon.
As the sun sets over Adelaide, the awards are handed out and the teams are making their way back home, we at Projecta are going back to what we do best: creating quality power management products and solutions for a more sustainable future. And who knows, maybe one of these new innovations will make its way to the World Solar Challenge in 2025.
