When driving along, the IDC25 prioritises solar to recharge your batteries – as does all the chargers in Projecta’s IDC range. By supplementing the vehicle’s alternator, it reduces the power-robbing load the alternator places on the engine – which in turn reduces fuel consumption. If there’s insufficient sunlight, the IDC25 automatically switches back to the alternator for re-charging duties.
